A few days in sunny Palma enjoying the hospitable familiarity of industry friends and making some great new connections along the way, never fails to reinforce the privileges of our industry.
A lot of insightful conversations were had, particularly around how sale & purchase transactions are evolving and where things are perhaps taking a little longer than expected.
Other interesting discussions were had in relation to owners becoming far more cost conscious, increased scrutiny around ownership structures and a growing desire for straightforward, commercially sensible advice rather than overly complicated solutions.
As ever, all of this just reinforces how important early coordination is in getting things right.
